This summer we went to Yellowstone from June 14-16. I was so excited to go! We use to go a lot when I was younger but I probably hadn't been since I was 9, and Hunter had NEVER been there before! Pretty shocking considering how much his family is into the outdoors and everything! We left early Friday morning at 4 and drove straight there and just drove around different waterfalls and sights before heading to the hotel that was in gardner, Montana.
Hunter scared the person in the car behind him because they thought he really slipped and was about to fall. :)
We were driving all around Yellowstone when we saw a few cars stopped and looked to see what they were looking at and saw 3 bears. The mom and 2 cubs were the cutest! We stopped and took pictures for a long time! The whole time we saw 5 bears total.
We went to this little small town rodeo just down the street from the hotel. This lady thought it would be fun to stand in front of us for the first 45 minutes of the rodeo and dance while flirting with every cowboy that would ride by... Luckily I have the best husband ever and he asked her to move.
Even though we were only there for 2 days we had so much fun!! There is so much in Yellowstone to see in just 2 days time when all of it is just spent driving around. On our way out we FINALLY saw some elk and moose. We were so tired after this trip but are so glad we went!!
I can't believe how many bears you saw!!! We went in August and luckily saw two.
