Sleepover with Jezelle

On friday we had our niece Jezelle sleepover. We had been wanting to take her out for a day and go to a movie or something and we decided it would be a lot of fun to have her over for a sleepover. We picked her up at three after Hunter got off work. We got all her clothes and sippy cup and car seat and she seemed really excited but I wasn't sure that she knew what was going on. But we packed all the stuff in the car and went to see the elk by utah lake and then walked down to the water. Then we headed up to my house to get toys and kids movies and a mattress and blankets for her to sleep on. Then when we got into the car to leave for our apartment she said, "My bed?" and I said yeah that's where you are going to sleep. Then she just snuggled up to it for almost the whole way to our apartment. When we got to our apartment I started making taco salad and we put in toy story. Then we sat at the table for dinner and Jezelle said the prayer. Little kids prayers make me laugh sometimes. This is what her prayer was, "Heavenly father thank you for today, thank you for church, thank you for toys, thank you for papa, amen." Then after dinner we watched Ice age and played with toys.

She LOVES the iPhone :)

Then we got her into her pajamas.. she thought this was so funny so we took a picture.

Then we watched Finding Nemo and then she fell asleep and didn't wake up at all that night. We were both happy she slept all the way through the night cause she probably would have freaked out if she woke up in the middle of the night. Then next day we made mickey mouse pancakes for Jezelle.

Then we went to Sportsmans wear house and bought Hunter a fishing pole and got his license printed out. I am pretty sure most of the people there thought she was our daughter.. haha! Then we left the Sportsmans wearhouse and were walking to the car when we saw a family had little lab puppies that they were trying to sell. They were so adorable. If we had a house I would have bought one right then and there. After playing with the puppies we went back to our apartment and made Jezelle some soup. She loves posing for pictures.

After lunch we went up to my house and took back the mattress and blankets and toys and got my fishing pole and tackle box cause we were going fishing! Then we went to Hunter's parents and packed all the stuff in the truck and went fishing. We were only there for about 10 minutes until it started pouring rain. We packed up all the stuff and went back and watched date night. Then when the sun came out we went fishing again. It was so much fun but I don't have any pictures of fishing because I left my camera in the truck. It was such a fun weekend with Jezelle. Thank you Nicole and Jay for letting us take her :)

Honeymoon: Part Two

On Tuesday April 12 we went to Sea World!! We were both really excited to go especially me because my favorite animal is a dolphin. I wanted more than ANYTHING to swim with one but it is 160 dollars to do it :( Next time we go I will no matter what!! We arrived at Sea World about an hour after it opened and walked in. The first thing we went to was the Dolphins. They are so amazing and cute they are almost like little babies. I can't believe how high they can jump and how fast they can swim!!

After watching the dolphins for awhile we walked by where the Shamu show is held and went behind the gater and watched the killer whales. They are so cute! They always look like they have a smile on their face, I wonder if the wild ones in the ocean look like that too. We were standing there just watching and then Shamu came and jumped out of the water and the side bar right in front of us! It was HUGE!! Unfortunately we didn't get the camera to turn on fast enough to get the picture, it would have been a great picture of us and Shamu right in the background!

After watching the killer whales we went and held star fish, saw the sea turtles and then rode on the sky ride!

Then we went and saw the sea lions, oh my they are so obnoxious and annoying. People would by fish to feed them and they would just sit there and yelp. It would switch from a dog sounding bark to a scream.

To end the day we went to the Blue Horizons Dolphin show and the Shamu Show. Then we walked what seemed like miles to get the perfect magnet for our fridge and find which gift shop the picture frame we liked was in. It was such an amazing honeymoon and Sea world was so much fun to go to.

California was such an amazing first trip with my husband!

Honeymoon: Part One

The day after our wedding we left at 5:00 AM for Huntington Beach, California!! The first two hours of driving I was asleep while Hunter was driving through a crazy blizzard.. what a good husband. After nine hours of driving we were finally there and went to our hotel. Then as we were leaving for the beach we looked out to the pool and this is what we found...

A duck!

Hunter was thrilled that we had a duck in our pool but then we scared it away and the hotel manager came out and looked really mad, but the next day the duck was back. By the end of the week this is what was in our pool...

Four ducks in our swimming pool!! Needless to say we never saw anyone swim in the pool. It had duck poop all over the bottom.

The next few days we spent everyday at the beach in 70 degree weather. It was so warm compared to Utah where it was snowing most of the days we were in California. We LOVED the beach. On our very first day at the beach we saw wild dolphins jumping out of the water and a sea lion. It was an amazing four days on the beach.

One Month!

Exactly one month from today, Hunter and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. I felt so blessed to have such amazing friends and family members that attended and made this day possible. After a long 4 months and 8 days of planning, we were finally getting married. For those of you who know me know that the one thing I didn't want on my wedding day was snow... and when I woke up that morning to go and get my hair done I bet you'll never guess what was falling from the sky... SNOW! Luckily it only snowed before and a little after the wedding, not during the pictures at the temple, and that is all I wanted. Despite the snow, it was such a beautiful day and made my wedding such an amazing day. After the wedding we had lunch at Golden Corral with all the family and friends that came. Then we went to our reception which was held at Bella Vista Reception Center. It was such an amazing day and I never want to forget the love I felt from all family and friends, and my new husband. Thank you to everyone who made that day possible!!

Here are a few pictures from our wedding :)
